This board was formed on 15 June, 2012 by Higher Education Department of Punjab (HED) this board is not confined to any area but this board is spread so vast and jurisdiction of the board consist of many areas and regions.

This board has some main functions and rules those are to conduct examination for 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th it was for those students as they form foundation for the students professional life they provide students with certificate after that. Board also conducts examination for 5th and 8th class although these examination are not compulsory but students appear in them for practice as that will let them gain practice for that reason Punjab education commission was formed in the year 2005 to conduct and manage examination for 5th and 8th class.

This board conducts examination for higher secondary school certificate that is for inter part I and part II that is 11th and 12th in the month April and May and many students appear in them after that they wait for results that will be declared in the month of August and September and declared on the official website of the board and also we will display it on our website.

Before examination students need to get themselves register with the board these forms are posted and also made online on the official website of the board. After that students get their roll number slips and date sheets and they get admission to appear in board examination.
